It records photogravure printing by Courvoisiers of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in five colours. The paper is described as white paper with coloured ink fibres and special gumming for tropical climates. Stamp size including perforation is printed as 25.7 × 41.1 mm, horizontal. Sheets contain 50 stamps, arranged as five stamps per row and ten rows.[2]
The card identifies the 13p subject as Derbyhaven, a natural harbour sheltered by the mainland and the Langness peninsula, north of Castletown.[2]
