Permitted use

Visitors may view the wiki and make copies for their own private study or personal reference where permitted by law.

Material may not be republished, redistributed, sold, presented as somebody else's work or used commercially without prior permission, unless a page or file specifies a separate licence.

Excel formulas and VBA code

Formulas and code are provided for reference and example purposes and without warranty.

The presence of code on the wiki does not remove any rights belonging to its author. Contact PhantomSteve before redistributing substantial original code elsewhere.

Third-party material

Some pages may include or refer to material in which copyright, trademark or other rights belong to third parties. This may include:

  • postage-stamp and first day cover designs;
  • logos and trademarks;
  • catalogue names and reference numbers;
  • quoted text;
  • externally sourced images or information.

The rights in such material remain with their respective owners. Inclusion on PhantomWiki does not transfer or license those rights to visitors.

Catalogue references and trademarks

Names including Stanley Gibbons, Michel, Scott, Zumstein, Yvert et Tellier and other catalogue or product names may be trademarks of their respective owners.

Catalogue numbers are used solely to identify and cross-reference stamps. PhantomWiki is not affiliated with or endorsed by the catalogue publishers.

Attribution and permissions

Where third-party material is used, its source or rights information should be stated on the relevant page or file-description page where reasonably possible.

Anyone wishing to reproduce original PhantomWiki material beyond what is permitted by law should contact PhantomSteve.

If you believe that material on PhantomWiki infringes your rights, leave a message on PhantomSteve's talk page. Do not publish confidential personal information there.

Please identify:

  • the material concerned;
  • the page or file where it appears;
  • the nature of the rights claimed;
  • a suitable private method of contact.

A substantiated concern will be reviewed and the material may be amended or removed.
