Template:Stamp

From PhantomWiki
Revision as of 15:36, 22 September 2026 by PhantomSteve (talk | contribs)

This template displays details of an individual stamp. The page title should use the stamp identifier format, for example IM-SG-9999a.

Usage

{{Stamp
|image=IM-SG-9999a.jpg
|country=Isle of Man
|country-code=IM
|catalogue=Stanley Gibbons

The year parameter places the page in the appropriate stamps by year category.

The withdrawn-date parameter records withdrawal from sale or invalidation for postage. Where both dates are known, include both with explanatory labels. Leave the field blank if unknown; the table will display “Not specified”. Record dates when stocks sold out separately in notes, as selling out does not establish invalidation.

Examples:

|withdrawn-date=1 March 1972 (invalidated for postage)
|withdrawn-date=31 August 1966 (withdrawn from sale); 1 March 1972 (invalidated for postage)
