The design is credited to J. Nicholson. Courvoisier printed the stamp by [[wikipedia:en:Photogravure|photogravure]] in multiple colours on granite paper without a watermark. Perforation is 11½, and sheets contain 50 stamps (5 × 10).<ref name="SG2022" />
