View source for PhantomWiki:Wanted items

This maintenance page brings together links that point to pages, categories, templates and files which do not currently exist.

Some reports may retain recently resolved items temporarily because MediaWiki caches its maintenance reports.

Wanted pages
These are nonexistent ordinary pages which are linked from one or more existing pages.

Full report: Special:WantedPages

Wanted categories
These are categories which have been assigned to pages but whose category-description pages have not yet been created.

* Open the wanted categories report

Unlike Wanted pages, this report cannot be displayed directly within an ordinary page.

Wanted templates
These are nonexistent templates which are transcluded or referenced by existing pages.

* Open the wanted templates report

Unlike Wanted pages, this report cannot be displayed directly within an ordinary page. If the report says that there are no results, PhantomWiki currently has no missing templates.

Wanted files
These are files which are referenced on wiki pages but have not yet been uploaded.

* Open the wanted files report

Unlike Wanted pages, this report cannot be displayed directly within an ordinary page. If the report says that there are no results, PhantomWiki currently has no referenced but missing files.

Maintenance notes
* Creating a wanted page changes its link from red to blue.
* Creating a wanted category requires saving descriptive text on its
Category:
page.
* Wanted files disappear after a file with the exact referenced filename has been uploaded.
* Filename capitalisation, spaces, hyphens and extensions must match the reference.
* If a resolved item continues to appear, purge this page and the page which originally contained the missing link.
